Image takedown requests

We blur faces and license plates, remove GPS data and review every image by hand. Still, if you believe you can be identified in one of our images, or that an image infringes your rights, we will act quickly.

How to request removal

Email privacy@datasetbyhumans.com with:

1. the dataset name and the image ID or page where you saw the image;
2. a short explanation of why you are identifiable or why the image infringes your rights;
3. how we can contact you.

We may ask for limited information to confirm the request concerns you. We will not ask for more than necessary.

What we do

• We acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
• If the request is valid, we remove the image from our catalog and all future deliveries, and publish a new dataset version.
• We notify customers who licensed the affected dataset, and our license requires them to replace it with the updated version.
• We confirm to you when this is done, within one month.
